My dad is such an asshole sometimes. My mom had the worst day at work ever and then has to drive my sister around for 4 hours on top of a full day at work.
Apparently her being tired means he no longer should make an effort. He has on day out of the year to attempt to be heartfelt. And he fails at that. I could go on forever. He drives me nuts.
And what father/husband would post this on facebook for all his friends/family to see and witness? They all know he’s an awful husband. He’s not helping his case.

He’s spent the night taking photos of the rose my boyfriend got me, because he’s silly. But it’s kinda pretty, yeah?
Just found these in my room sitting in front of my tv from my dad :-)
The note says, “I hope these help brighten your Valentines Day” which is cute cuz I think it means he was reading my ‘heart broken’ facebook status updates from earlier in the day.
Not gonna lie though, at first glance these flowers scared the shit out of me because I thought it was a giant mutant spider in some sorta crouching stance in front of my tv O_o
My father used to tell me, when I was real little and still had that baby chub, that I should be “proud of my pot belly,”?because “Daisy Duke always wanted a pot belly.”?
He proceeded to make me watch Dukes of Hazzard with him until he could prove that she’d said as much.?
I suppose he didn’t realize that showing me Daisy Duke would make me want my little ‘pot belly’ less.?
